Hi...
I’m Megan (she/they) I’m a queer & neurodivergent therapist. Trauma survivor. Anti-capitalist. Anti-racist. Nature enthusiast. And a Beyoncé fan. So many of us are carrying pain that doesn’t belong to us—wounds from white supremacy, capitalism, cisnormativity, ableism, religious trauma, and other systems built to disconnect us from our bodies, our identities, our communities, and our joy. In our work together, we don’t just “cope”—we unlearn, reconnect, and heal. You don’t have to squeeze yourself into anyone else’s idea of wholeness. Therapy with me is a place where your full self is not only safe, but celebrated.

My Approach
I offer therapy grounded in liberation, community care, and radical authenticity. My style is warm, affirming, sometimes gently challenging, and always deeply human. My practice is rooted in:

-
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
-
Trauma-informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
-
Guided Meditation & Mindfulness
-
Nature-Based & Somatic Practices
-
LGBTQIA+ & Neurodivergent Affirming Care
-
Support for Religious Trauma & Deconstruction
-
Lived experience-informed care for trauma survivors

I work from an anti-capitalist and anti-oppressive framework, because true healing can’t happen in a vacuum—it happens in relationship to the world around us. That means we name power, we unpack internalized systems, and we honor the impact of intergenerational trauma and cultural harm. I am actively unlearning white supremacy in my own life and work, and I’m committed to ongoing growth, accountability, and community learning.

What to Expect
This is a space for deep truth, awkward laughs, boundary-setting, grief, joy, rest, rage, and realness. I’m not here to fix you—I’m here to walk alongside you while you reclaim your truth, your body, and your voice.
You can expect:
-
A grounded, conversational approach
-
Space to be messy, uncertain, or angry
-
Consent-centered pacing
-
Humor, metaphor, curiosity, and breath

A Little About Me
When I’m not in session, you can find me gardening, wandering near Lake Michigan, planning my next trip, hanging with my cats and dogs, or blasting Beyoncé like it’s a sacred ritual (because… it is). My life and practice are shaped by my own experiences of trauma, religious harm, gender expansiveness, and neurodivergence. I bring all of that lived wisdom into the room—not as an expert on you, but as someone who gets it on a cellular level.

Accessibility & Care Beyond the Clock
Healing shouldn’t be a luxury. I reject the wellness industry’s obsession with optimization and productivity. I oƯer sliding scale spots when possible and strive to make therapy a space that resists grind culture and centers collective care over individual “resilience.” If you’re looking for a therapist who will hold space for your complexity, challenge the systems that have harmed you, and show up with heart and honesty—let’s talk.
